Dr. Ulrich Eder has in-depth knowledge and sound experiences in the following four areas:

  • legal and tax aspects of outbound investments in (South East) Asia in the form of a corporation or a joint-venture,
  • international tax structurings for corporations and individuals in high tax jurisdictions including the utilization of offshore entities,
  • complex project and corporate financings of high-volume infrastructure and real estate transactions,
  • cross-border acquisitions, privatizations and public-private-partnerships including the management of public tender procedures and bidding strategies.

He is extremely familiar with a wide range of financial, accounting, tax and legal issues that arise in international big-ticket transactions and has been actively involved in all aspects of structuring, negotiating and documenting these transactions. He has played a critical and creative role in the development of corporate and project financings, privatizations and securitizations, in which he acted as a German tax counsel as well as a special counsel and a city advisor. This involved rolling stock, waste water facilities and waste water networks, real estate, waste incineration plants and rail infrastructure systems with a transaction volume of more than Euro 12 billions.

He is a regular speaker at national and international seminars and conferences and has published a broad selection of articles and assays addressing legal, tax and financial issues.
